O Praise The Name (Anastasis)

Written by Dean Ussher, Marty Sampson, Benjamin Hastings
© Hillsong Church, 2015

Another hot favourite from the 2015 Hillsong Conference! Surprisingly really easy to play.
Note the C13 chord can be played as a C. It will still sound good.
1 - F major
4 - Bb major
5 - C major
6 - D minor

Verse 1
                F                 F                           [1 / 1]
I cast my mind to Calvary
                     C                      Dm             [5 / 6]
Where Jesus bled and died for me.
               Bb                                   F        [4 / 1]
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet.
                 C                    F                       [5 / 1]
My Savior on that cursed tree

Verse 2 - same chords as Verse 1
His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb.
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

    F                                  Bb           F           [1 / 4 / 1]
O praise the name of the Lord our God
     Dm                     C13      C                      [6 / 5 ]
O praise His name forever more
       F                                Bb            Dm      [1 / 4 / 6]
For endless days we will sing Your praise
      Bb          C             F                               [4 / 5 / 1]
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Verse 3 - same chords as Verse 1
Then on the third at break of dawn,
The Son of heaven rose again.
O trampled death where is your sting?
The angels roar for Christ the King

[Chorus]

Verse 4 - same chords as Verse 1
He shall return in robes of white,
The blazing Son shall pierce the night.
And I will rise among the saints,
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face

[Chorus for as many times as you like]
